A land rich in history and natural resources, Piedmont boasts an exceptional artistic and cultural treasure. A landscape that is characterized by its Olympic mountains, spas, baroque palaces and royal residences.
What to see
Of particular interest is the landscape of Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, territories of world-famous wines. Everyone considers Piedmont as the Alpine region par excellence. In fact, it welcomes perennially snow-capped and massive peaks among the highest in Europe: Monte Rosa, already mentioned by Leonardo, and Monviso, King of Stone.
Piedmont offers an extraordinary historical, cultural and artistic heritage, scattered throughout the city, palaces and abbeys, castles and centuries-old fortifications. The countless architectural assets are testimony of Romanesque, Romanesque, Baroque, Liberty, Art Nouveau and contemporary times.
The centuries-old food and wine tradition of Piedmont
From a gastronomic point of view, the region is one of the richest and most varied in Italy: meats, vegetables, cheeses, pasta, truffles and…
… the incredible wines, the pride of the Italian wine tradition.
Among the delicacies to try there are: braised barolo, mixed fried, Bagna cauda, agnolotti al plin, veal with tuna sauce, bônèt and much more!
Wine

The origin of the Piedmontese vineyards is very ancient: since the times of the Greeks, who arrived through the Ligurian coasts and imported the first vines of the region. And so in Roman times the crops were already well underway until the territory was devastated by the barbarian invasions.

It was in fact thanks to him that Barolo obtained the reputation of excellent wine, so much so that it became a real diplomatic instrument.
The production areas are mainly the Astigiano, the Monferrato and the Langhe.
Although the white wines are excellent (including Erbaluce, Gavi and Arneis), it is the red wines that are known worldwide as authentic excellences. The best known are Barbaresco, Barbera, Barolo, Nebbiolo and Ruchè,
