I capture your special moments

Budapest

Budapest is the most beautiful city on the Danube; a skilful self-staging, like Vienna, but with a robust substance and vitality unknown to the Austrian rival. Budapest gives the physical feeling of the capital, with a stateliness and grandeur of a city protagonist of history.” – Claudio Magris – Wikipedia

Budapest is one of those elegant but at the same time melancholic cities.

It is multifaceted, made up of many faces and different souls. This is testified by the fact that budapest is formed by three cities joined by bridges over the Danube: Buda, Pest and Obuda. Equally numerous are the architectural styles that can be encountered walking through the city, where there are baroque, neoclassical and art noveau buildings.

what to see

There are many beautiful attractions to visit in the city: the Buda Castle, built on the hill and from which you can enjoy an incredible view, the Chain Bridge, the most famous of the bridges over the Danube, the Basilica of St. Stephen and Vaci Utca, the pedestrian street of the center of Budapest, the most famous among tourists.

In Budapest there is a centuries-old tradition of spas, which are more than 125 and arose on the ruins of the ancient baths built by the Romans. Do not miss the Szechenyi thermal baths, located near the Heroes’ Square, the Gellert thermal baths, built in Art Nouveau style in the center of Budapest, and the Lukacs, originally from the twelfth century.

the goulash

And then there’s him… the goulash! A soup prepared with meat (usually beef) to which onion, garlic, paprika, tomatoes and potatoes are added. It has an intense taste and is the ideal dish especially in winter.

But are we sure that it is just a soup? In fact, goulash goes beyond being a traditional Hungarian dish. In fact, it is a real symbol of Hungary, because it represents the character of the Hungarian people: strong and intense.
